Greenwich cyclist deaths: Vigil to be held

Sadly two cyclists have died on a short stretch of A206 in Greenwich within a week of each other during May.

There will a vigil on Thursday 7 June at 6pm, outside the Town Hall in Woolwich (Wellington St, SE18 6HQ); including a call for action to make this route between Greenwich and Woolwich safer for cycling.  Do attend if you can.

So far very little is known publicly about the circumstances of the collisions, apart from the locations and that each case involved the driver of a lorry (who stopped at the scene) and a cyclist (who died) .

Here are some links about the incidents and some of the responses.
