Hill Climb April 7th

This years special centenary Hill Climb will take place on Sunday 7th April.

Start time : 11.00am

Entry fee: £1.00 on the day.

Venue: Old Pol Hill.

The start is next to a the former Polhill Arms and a lay by at the top of Polhill between the Badgers

Mount roundabout and Morleys roundabout on the A21.

Tea, coffee and home made cakes will be served.

This event is primarily a bit of fun, open to all ages and abilities with a cunning handicap to even

things up, with a team prize for the 3 fastest combined times of the various section of the West

Kent.

Entries are open to all, including non CTC / CycleUK members and so please encourage your

friends to have a go. The fastest West Kent rider will be awarded the prestigious Martin Davis cup,

onto which their name will be engraved for posterity, and prizes will be awarded for 1st lady, junior

and veteran (over 70).

Even if you don’t fancy riding, it is a good opportunity to meet up with club mates and to support

the event, which does take a significant number of volunteers to enable it to happen.

Put it in your diary, and looking forward to seeing you there.

Peter Ashlee (organiser 07951996313).
